About
My name is Jared Doran
In addition to managing KC Tree Surgeon, I also conduct local educational classes focused on tree care. My passion for trees is profound, and I find great fulfillment in nurturing them within both urban and natural settings. I take pleasure in imparting knowledge about the significance of trees and their contributions to our environment.

As a Board-Certified Master Arborist with over 20 years of experience in the tree care industry, I am dedicated to promoting the health and safety of trees in our communities. In addition to holding the designation as a Master Arborist my credentials include being a Certified Urban Forest Professional, Certified Kansas Arborist, and holding the Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ).

My professional background includes over 20 years of experience in the tree care industry, and I am a former president of the Kansas Arborist Association. Previously, I held the position of City Arborist for the City of Olathe, where I oversaw the Urban Forestry Program and management of over 100,000 trees.

As a tree climber, I possess a deep understanding of the intricate relationships between trees and their ecosystems. Whether I am pruning a modest flowering dogwood or ascending a towering 100-foot oak, I am acutely aware of the necessity for detailed, careful work.

Let's work together to ensure that our urban forests thrive and continue to provide invaluable benefits to our society.
